SILOAH was re-formed by Thom Argauer in 1971 after their Munich hippie community had split following the release of the band's first record. Although 'Sukram Gurk' was recorded under the same elementary conditions as its predecessor and had a similar psychedelic touch, it fails to achieve the sort of charisma evident in the first record. Thom now played the keyboards instead of the guitar. Both works were released on CD as early as 1993 on the Lost Pipedreams label, but this final release has crackling sounds in the second part of 'Feast of the pickpockets' removed from the master tape. It bears witness to the music of that time, a must only for those who want to have everything. Thom Argauer, a very nice guy, whose help was essential in releasing the two Siloah CDs, died in early 1999.
