Typical mid-seventies progressive-rock with plenty of mellotrons, moogs and heavy guitars

When in 1975 the five Prosper - Boys recorded their only album 'Broken Door' the band members had already collected many years of experience in music and bands. Guitarist Fritz Fey was also the engineer on the Chicken Bones album 'Hardrock in Concert' from 1976. 'Broken Door' contained typical mid-seventies progressive-rock with plenty of mellotrons, moogs and heavy guitars - and is - according to Dag Erik Asbjornsen (Cosmic Dreams at Play) vaguely comparable to a cross between contemporary Zappa, Santana and King Crimson. Dag likes the album (and so are many Krautrock aficionados) and calls it a very fine album, but unfortunately very hard to find! That's true but now you have the possibility to buy a proper reissue. Drummer Friedhelm Misiejuk played later with Straight Shooter (two albums on Sky-Records) and 2nd guitar player Evert Bretschneider played with spacey jazz-rock combo Contact Trio. Album is new remastered by Longhair sound - wizard Jörg Scheuermann contains story and photos. Limited edition.
