Xhol Caravan from Wiesbaden were one of the first and most prominent underground bands in Germany. They were part of the students' movement and at the spearhead of the development towards psychedelic music. Emerging in 1969 as successors of Soul Caravan, they only recorded one 7'-single "Planet Earth / So down" and one LP "Electrip", both in the same year of 1969. In 1995, "Electrip" was released on a cheaply produced bootleg CD (Germanofon 941066), but Garden of Delights' legal re-release contains, for the first time, Xhol Caravan's complete published works. Next to a detailed band history in English and German, the coloured booklet of 32 pages also includes many photographs and illustrations.
