Gomorrha "I Turned To See Whose Voice It Was" CD
The new singer Peter Otten and new bass player Mike Eulner, guitar player Ad Ochel and Ali Claudi as well as drummer Helmut Pohl and keyboarder Eberhart Krietsch start early 1972 their finest album and all time German Krautrock classic album "I turned to see whose voice it was". It was recorded with Conny Plank as the sound engineer and producer in famous Windrose-Dumont studio in Hamburg and released on nowadays famous Krautrock label Brain. As keyboarder Eberhart Krietsch says "from the fairytale prince music of our first album to the apocalypse". With "I turned to see whose voice it was" Gomorrha´s identity had become firmly established: complex psychedelic rock fronted by angry guitars and organ, that could be simultaneously aggressive and spacy, with bizarre lyrics about life, religion, death, etc. They presented an unique adventures und constantly surprising form of rock music that has became an island on to itself. Both CD and LP re-releases come with complete band story, rare photos, lyrics etc. pp. Remastered version, excellent sound quality.
