Imaad Wasif´s second studioalbum "Strange Hexes", which came out as a self-release in 2008, belongs to the lost gems of contemporary Rock music. The fragile shamanic poet immediately captures the listener in an overwhelming atmosphear between sonic bliss and bone-breaking intensity. His guitar licks howl like Wolfs in the night, while his voice seems to cut through the air. This is true musician-mastership and yet a mystery why only so few initiates have heard of this great album. One thing World In Sound is clearly set to change with the final vinyl release and a new official CD-release, both including linernotes and rare photos. Absolute recommendation for fans of Dead Meadow, Espers and Black Mountain!

High Tech, Low Life' is the third sonic exploration by the German instrumental band Buddha Sentenza. These four young guys on Guitar, Bass, Drums and FX make a significant difference from many others, not only by combining the essences of great musicianship but keeping their minds wide open. While sharing similar vibes with Colour Haze, Samsara Blues Experiment, My Solid Ground and like-minded pioneers of Krautrock, they maintained a juvenile experimentalism to continuously keep up the excitement within these 53 minutes of the album. Seems they almost intuitively created anthems like "Dhimahi Prachodayat" or "Agathe & Saturnia" by looking at their music through the eyes of adolescence. Oh, and how refreshing their energy is!

Fuzz Sagrado is the new psychedelic rock project of the creative head of Samsara Blues Experiment, Chris Peters, who not only plays guitar and sings here, but also takes care of all the other instruments. "Luz e Sombra" (Light and Shadow) is now the second album in two years after its predecessor "A New Dimension" from 2022. The music can be seen as a continuation of Peters' work with SBE, in some ways the new album seems to tie in very well with SBE's "End Of Forever" as there are some longer 70's influenced prog pieces alongside shorter grunge era style songs. Although the production is more direct and Fuzz Sagrado is, of course, a different project with even more diverse influences than SBE, Samsara fans should find some familiarity here. But also fans of well-written psychedelic rock with influences from the late 60s to today should definitely give this a listen!

FUZZ SAGRADO is the new Psychedelic Rock project from the creative head of Samsara Blues Experiment, Christian Peters (guitar, vocals etc.). After the end of the world-famous Heavy Psych band, Peters emigrated to Brazil and founded Fuzz Sagrado in 2021. Two albums were released, “A New Dimension” (2022) and “Luz e Sombra” (2023), as well as several digital releases. With this new “Strange Daze”-LP, World In Sound will be releasing Peters' early work with this new project, namely the self-titled EP from July 2021 and “Vida Pura” that started it all. Both have been faithfully remastered by John McBain (Monster Magnet, Desert Sessions) for this limited vinyl release. "ROCK HARD in concert" rounds off Samsara Blues Experiment's discography and gives their fans a huge load of intense music-artistry. It can be seen as the climax by a perfectly rehearsed group after a decade of worldwide touring. The improviations here, especially on guitar, are more intense than on the studio albums. A cross-section of almost all SBE albums was performed that evening, including two songs from the latest album "End Of Forever", released in 2021; besides there are several fan highlights like "Singata Mystic Queen" and "Center Of The Sun" on the setlist. These recordings were made during the last SBE tour in November 2018 and have been engineered and mixed by Holger Stratmann, editor of Germany's Rock Hard Magazine; mastering was done by the former Grobschnitt drummer and Krautrock legend Eroc. Look forward to enjoy SBE alive in your living room, and be prepared for an authentic music-trip back to the holy grails of the unforgotten 70s Jam and Heavy Psych performances!

"Transitions" by Estes Brothers is one of the rarest US private pressings and truly a heavy- psych masterpiece. It was released in Ohio in 1971 and original copies are nearly impossible to find, only 100 were made. The album has been re-issued by legendary Rockadelic Records in the 1990s on vinyl and by WIS on CD (WIS-1013) in 2002.

Six longer album cuts from 4-9 minutes express intense, atmospheric and epic movements, stunning guitarwork and the typical haunted blues hardrock blend of the early 70s. The main influences are British 70s rock heroes and US- Westcoast acid/jam rock in the vains of Quicksilver Messenger Service.

The quartet further recorded one 45 record "Tomorrow ́s Sunlight/Yesterdays Blues" - this edition is the complete discography of the Estes Brothers, presented with the original cover artwork, photos and historical background. On the CD issue, you ́ll find five extra-bonustracks, live and home recordings from a later period of the group.
