Imaad Wasif´s second studioalbum "Strange Hexes", which came out as a self-release in 2008, belongs to the lost gems of contemporary Rock music. The fragile shamanic poet immediately captures the listener in an overwhelming atmosphear between sonic bliss and bone-breaking intensity. His guitar licks howl like Wolfs in the night, while his voice seems to cut through the air. This is true musician-mastership and yet a mystery why only so few initiates have heard of this great album. One thing World In Sound is clearly set to change with the final vinyl release and a new official CD-release, both including linernotes and rare photos. Absolute recommendation for fans of Dead Meadow, Espers and Black Mountain!

Fuzz Sagrado is the new psychedelic rock project of the creative head of Samsara Blues Experiment, Chris Peters, who not only plays guitar and sings here, but also takes care of all the other instruments. "Luz e Sombra" (Light and Shadow) is now the second album in two years after its predecessor "A New Dimension" from 2022. The music can be seen as a continuation of Peters' work with SBE, in some ways the new album seems to tie in very well with SBE's "End Of Forever" as there are some longer 70's influenced prog pieces alongside shorter grunge era style songs. Although the production is more direct and Fuzz Sagrado is, of course, a different project with even more diverse influences than SBE, Samsara fans should find some familiarity here. But also fans of well-written psychedelic rock with influences from the late 60s to today should definitely give this a listen!

These four young guys on Guitar, Bass, Drums and FX make a significant difference from many others, not only by combining the essences of great musicianship but keeping their minds wide open. While sharing similar vibes with Colour Haze, Samsara Blues Experiment, My Solid Ground and like-minded pioneers of Krautrock, they maintained a juvenile experimentalism to continuously keep up the excitement within these 53 minutes of the album. Seems they almost intuitively created anthems like "Dhimahi Prachodayat" or "Agathe & Saturnia" by looking at their music through the eyes of adolescence. Oh, and how refreshing their energy is!

World In Sound presents its first release with Kiwi roots with the young and ambitious quartet “Sun and the Wolf”. Salutations is their return, the second full length album which opens the gates to a psychedelic soaked wonderland. The nine analog recorded cuts are dynamically arranged continuing on from the explosive and overdriven rhythm and blues that their debut LP "White Buffalo" boasted, while exploring darker realms of fuzz driven psychedelia with catchy riffage and splashes of The Beatles´ lysergic era. Tales of heartbreak, debauchery and deceit echoing from a far away room, the guitar driven sound shows a band soulful and haunted in their delivery, live and on record.

The group relocated from Auckland to Berlin in late 2008 leaving behind a band formerly known as “The Have”. Formed in their teens, the band carved its name upon the New Zealand rock’n’roll scene. There they experienced commercial radio and television success, were invited to SXSW in Texas twice and had their debut album produced by Barrett Jones who worked with Nirvana and The Melvins. They have shared stages with likes as Sleepy Sun, Kasabian, Wolfmother, Dead Meadow, A Place To Bury Strangers and standout festival performances at the notorious Fusion Festival. Spacegoat is a stoner/doom-band from Monterrey, in the North-Eastern mountain ranges of Mexico. "Superstition" is the debut full-length of this fairly young group, formed around singer Gina Rios and her brother and main-songwriter Miguel on lead guitar. As the genre's aesthetics imply, there are no big musical inventions or distractions here - the music on this album is not progressive by any means, but it doesn't have to be. Yet among the many small things, there is one that makes a big difference, and that is Gina's voice. In all ranges from sweet and bewitching to a full-on siren, she really shines out from this rough diamond of an album with its hints to 70s Classic Rock, Psychedelia and even a kind of Southern Rock-piece introducing the B-side... Serpentina Satelite was formed by the end of 2003 in Lima, Peru. Saturna is the second spanish World In Sound group besides the guitar wizards in Prisma Circus. It can be seen as the climax by a perfectly rehearsed group after a decade of worldwide touring. The improviations here, especially on guitar, are more intense than on the studio albums. A cross-section of almost all SBE albums was performed that evening, including two songs from the latest album "End Of Forever", released in 2021; besides there are several fan highlights like "Singata Mystic Queen" and "Center Of The Sun" on the setlist. Lemonade Influence is a new Greek psychedelic progressive rock band, where young talented guitarist and songwriter Kyriakos Iliopoulos joined forces with ex-members of the most important contemporary Greek psychedelic band Purple Overdose. This is their first album, a great double LP concept album, highly influenced by early 70s British psychedelic/progressive music - it consists of seven long, original progressive rock tracks, with excellent male, female vocals and great harmonies by a group of excellent musicians.
