Blind Illusion is one of the most extravagant US-Metal Bands from the 1980s."The Sane Asylum" is their only release and also the albumdebut of Les Claypool (Primus). The guitarists Larry Lalonde (Possessed, Primus) and bandleader Mark Biedermann (Blue Oyster Cult "Imaginos") wrote sensational arrangements and created a many faceted style of thrash metal with zappaesque 70s hardrock elements. The remastered World In Sound version comes with linernotes by M. Biederman, unseen photos plus previoulsy unreleased bonustracks taken from the 1985 "Trilogy of Terror" demo, which was produced by Kirk Hammett. Undoubtedly, "The Sane Asylum" is in a similar vein as Metallica's or Testament's early works!

This is the second previously unreleased album by the Dutch psychedelic hard rock band Cosmic Dealer. Their first album "Crystallization" from 1971 is an outstanding and rare masterpiece for all psych collectors and for sure one of the best Euro-Underground rock albums of the 70s. In 1971 the band was shortly disband but found together in 1973 with a few line-up changes and kept the same musical intention: heavy psychedelic, progressive and guitar driven hard rock, with catchy songwriting, a few US-Westcoast flashes but also extended instrumental jam excursions.

This album contains 6 songs which were recorded in 1973, plus 3 demos from 1971 and as bonus you´ll find a 7"EP with 4 live cuts (25 mins) which were recorded in 1971, including the title track from their debut "Crystallization". The album is is carefully re-mastered to catch the real spirit of the beautiful music and contains a poster and lots of photos and linernotes. Definitely a must-have piece for all 60s psych freaks! Heavy handmade cover and 180g amber colored vinyl.

FUZZ SAGRADO is the new Psychedelic Rock project from the creative head of Samsara Blues Experiment, Christian Peters (guitar, vocals etc.). After the end of the world-famous Heavy Psych band, Peters emigrated to Brazil and founded Fuzz Sagrado in 2021. Two albums were released, “A New Dimension” (2022) and “Luz e Sombra” (2023), as well as several digital releases. With this new “Strange Daze”-LP, World In Sound will be releasing Peters' early work with this new project, namely the self-titled EP from July 2021 and “Vida Pura” that started it all. Both have been faithfully remastered by John McBain (Monster Magnet, Desert Sessions) for this limited vinyl release. With each track, Peters blends different genres and weaves a tapestry of sound that is both fresh and familiar. The Swedish band POSTURES release is both ambitious and mature in its presentation. It is multi-faceted, cross-genre and with a lot of love to the detail. Only insiders have heard about POSTURES because it is their debut album; 9 songs (50 min) melt from unexpected 2 min. interludes, floating ballads, "Big Riff Rock " numbers and a 13 minute instrumental Space Trip together to an intense sound spectacle. Very well produced, the album is conceptually clearly an attribute to the early 1970s , with the spirit of Pink Floyd, Yes, Can, Doors and Jefferson Airplane. In addition to the impressive and dynamic vocals of Paulina Nyström, a mighty psychedelic-progressive orchestra taking its time to explore soundscapes with all the ups and downs in a dramatic way, atmospheric, hypnotic, sometimes experimental, but also very intense, with punchy hardrock rhythm, heavy guitar riffs, fuzzed-out solos and floating Hammond Organ vibes. Postures was formed in 2009 and can be admired live on stage with this album. Due to their individuality it is quite difficult to come up with direct comparisons to other bands. However, fans of Portishead and The Gathering who love the violent, progressive element in Mars Volta and appreciate the dynamic sonority of the 1970s, should listen very carefully to this one!

This is the re-release of World In Sound´s limited collectors edition from the year 2006. The core of Laghonia is a combination of Peruvian and US-citizens, Saul Cornejo (Vocals, Guitar), Manuel Cornejo (drums) and David Levene (lead guitar and vocals). All eight tunes on this album were released on 45s under the groups earlier name New Juggler Sound. When the band changed its name into Laghonia in 1970, the "Glue" album came out , with lyrics in English, great fuzz-wah-wah guitars, Hammond B-2 organ and massive, variative percussion sounds. Their music is catchy psychedelic Rock´n´Roll influenced by the British Invasion, especially the Beatles or Yardbirds, but also explodes with its heavy guitar riffage/solos in the vein of Santana, Cream or Hendrix. The album is remastered from the mastertape and includes a poster with a bio and band pics. Both LAGHONIA albums, “Glue” and “EtCetera” belong to the most legendary and best South American 70s collectors albums!

When you hear this you will bet that this was made in 1968. Farfisa-organ, fuzztone/wahwah guitars, flute, two beautiful girl voices and haunted melodies, that´s LIVING ROOM, a short lived German Sextet which had one private limited vinyl release titled "Chambers" in 1997. They reaches highest level of authenticity and these recordings present their previously unreleased second album, heavily floating mystic folk and garage music. A listening pleasure which reflects Krautrock inspirations in the vain of Amon Düül 2, Hölderlins Traum but also the US acid hippie spirit.
